Brace your purple hearts. ARMY ALERT! 💜 BTS is back, and they mean business.
On March 21, 2026 at 7:00 PM PHT (8:00 PM KST / 4:00 AM PST / 7:00 AM EST), Netflix will stream live and exclusively BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, a one-night global event happening at the Gwanghwamun square in Seoul. Partnering with HYBE, Netflix is staging what’s being billed as an unprecedented comeback of the seven BTS members — RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook — reunited onstage for the first time since completing their mandatory service, celebrating the release of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG.
Directed by live-event veteran Hamish Hamilton and produced by Done + Dusted with executive producers from HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC alongside Guy Carrington, Garrett English and Kevin Hermanson, the performance is a ticketed live special (more ticketing details to follow). Netflix calls it the first-ever live global broadcast from Korea in the streamer’s expanding live slate.
The comeback offers more! BTS will release ARIRANG on March 20, 2026, a project that mines identity and roots, then set off on the ARIRANG World Tour (2026–2027), a massive concert run across 34 regions and 82 shows spanning Asia, North and Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

And for fans hungry for the behind-the-scenes story, BTS: THE RETURN arrives on Netflix March 27, 2026. From director Bao Nguyen (The Stringer, The Greatest Night in Pop) and producers This Machine and HYBE, the feature-length documentary promises intimate access to the band’s reunion — recording sessions in Los Angeles, candid reflections after years apart, and the creative recalibration that produced a new chapter of music. Executive and producing credits include Mark Blatty, Melissa Robledo, Seonjeong Shin, Nicole Kim, Kyewon Suh, James Shin, Jane Cha Cutler, R.J. Cutler and others; production companies listed are This Machine, HYBE and EAST Films.

Since debuting in June 2013, BTS — Bangtan Sonyeondan / “Beyond the Scene” has grown into one of modern pop’s most phenomenal acts. Six No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 singles since 2020, multiple sold-out stadium runs, TIME’s Entertainer of the Year honors, five GRAMMY nominations, and a fiercely loyal global fandom (ARMY) are part of their legacy.
