After eight years, the hit film “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” is finally getting a sequel!
The story of a man who penned 100 poems for the “girl with black lipstick” continues, promising yet another wild ride through the ups and downs of love.
The beloved “mapanakit” duo of Bela Padilla and JC Santos returns to reprise their roles as Stella and Fidel. “100 AWIT PARA KAY STELLA” is set to premiere nationwide in cinemas on September 10, 2025.
Set 15 years after their last encounter, Stella and Fidel are now apart, each focused on pursuing their dreams and fixing their lives.
Stella (Bela Padilla) has become a successful event organizer. She also parted ways with Von, who became abusive later in their relationship. Meanwhile, Fidel (JC Santos) continues to struggle with his stuttering, having given up on the hope of overcoming it.
During an event hosted by Stella’s team, rising star Clyde (Kyle Echarri), who is also interested in her, performs a song about “a girl with black lipstick.” Curious, Stella asks Clyde about the song’s writer. Fidel, who was also present, then appears. They reconnect and catch up on their current lives.
Stella discovers that Fidel works as Clyde’s ghostwriter, creating songs that Clyde performs, because Fidel can’t do it himself due to his stuttering and stage fright. Stella requests to hear Fidel’s songs, and to her shock, they are all about her.
Their feelings are rekindled, and they realize their love has never truly faded. Now, the question is—will they have the bravery to fight for each other once again?
