Daniel Padilla remains one of the most beloved figures in the entertainment industry today. Despite the colorful headlines about his love life and some personal issues, his recent endorsement deal and the success of Incognito prove that he still holds the trust and affection of the public. His fans’ continued support is proof to his genuine connection with them, proving that popularity can endure even through various challenges. Daniel’s widespread appeal is clear, and it resonates strongly with a broad audience.

In an industry as demanding as showbiz, where shooting a series, film, or commercial can take many hours, most artists rely on coffee to keep their energy up. Coffee has become more than just a stimulant. It’s often shared among friends and family during bonding moments. However, finding high-quality yet affordable coffee can be a challenge, especially as new coffee shops emerge constantly. One brand that has successfully made quality coffee accessible is Don Macchiatos, which started in Cebu. Its recent partnership with Daniel Padilla has further sweetened its reputation.

During the renewal of his contract with Don Macchiatos, Daniel expressed his excitement about continuing the collaboration. “Excited talaga kami with this renewal of partnership with Daniel. He’s been with us since day 1, since we decided to expand dito sa Luzon. Alam naman natin si Deej (Daniel’s nickname is DJ),iba talaga ang dating niya kaya ang laki ng tulong niya nung nag-expand kami dito sa Luzon,” says Ms. Nickie San Juan, co-owner of Don Macchiatos.

Daniel shared his personal journey into coffee. Dun ako natuto and eventually, tuloy tuloy na,” he shares.

When asked about his preferred flavor, Daniel replies, “Mocha, mocha ako lagi or classic Americano.” Despite the many brands vying for his endorsement, he chose Don Macchiatos for its simplicity and genuine relationships. “Sobrang simple lang. Sobrang daling ka-trabaho ni sir Marc (Anthony Abangan, COO) tsaka ni Ma’am Nickie. ‘Yun lang number one sa akin ngayon. It’s the relationship. Pinaka-importante sa akin throughout the years na natutunan ko is about the relationship. Ang sarap ng ganun, eh. Kahit gaano kayo katagal magkasama, hindi lang magka-trabaho ang turingan ninyo, hindi lang magkaibigan. Mahalagang mahalaga sa akin ‘yung ganun, frienship at tiwala,” he explains.

Daniel also expressed his gratitude for the brand’s ongoing trust. “I’m just very thankful dahil sa tiwala na patuloy na binibigay sa akin. I’m just very happy to be part of this family, this ever-growing family.”

When he was first approached to endorse Don Macchiatos, it wasn’t the size of the business that attracted him but its story of supporting local farmers. “They support local beans, which means they support our farmers. That was enough for me. I really love to support local brands,” Daniel says.

Don Macchiatos, which started just a year ago in Cebu, has grown into a chain of over 850 outlets offering affordable, quality coffee nationwide. The partnership between Daniel and the brand has gone beyond business. Last June, he renewed his contract at Shangri-La, The Fort, Manila, with top executives present. It wasn’t just a contractual extension but a reaffirmation of a relationship built on mutual respect and shared values.
