A fresh wave of excitement is coming to Philippine primetime as GMA Network unveils Sanggang Dikit FR, a fast-paced action drama laced with witty banter and emotional depth. Premiering this June 23 on GMA Prime, the series promises a dynamic blend of suspense, light-hearted moments, and gripping character arcs.
At the heart of this series are two of the country’s most beloved stars, Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado. The real-life couple brings their natural chemistry to the screen, but this time with a twist—an offbeat, buddy-cop partnership that fuses comedic timing with raw emotional storytelling.
Jennylyn takes on the role of Roberta “Bobby” Enriquez, a cheerful yet fiercely competitive policewoman determined to rise through the ranks. She’s matched by Dennis as Antonio “Tonyo” Conde, a sharp and instinctive cop whose unconventional crime-solving methods often veer from the rulebook. Both officers carry the weight of personal tragedies, and their paths collide when a murder case hits too close to home. As secrets unravel, the two must figure out if their partnership will divide them—or become the very thing that brings healing.
Veteran performers join the ensemble, including Roi Vinzon, Al Tantay, and Nova Villa, alongside accomplished actors Allen Dizon, Jeffrey Santos, and Marina Benipayo. Their powerful portrayals add depth and texture to the show’s complex universe.
Infusing youthful energy and unexpected twists are Joross Gamboa, Liezel Lopez, Juancho Triviño, and Sam Pinto.
