Farah Ramos continues a showbiz legacy and celebrates 8 years of ‘Farah Models’
“Looking at these faces here, these are the different faces of Asia,” Farah Ramos, Founder and CEO of Farah Models, shared. “Kasi hindi lang naman Oriental ang Asians or moreno.” The model-turned-manager is proud of her stable of talents as her agency turns eight.

This year, the spotlight shines brightly on its Farah, a woman steering a family legacy of developing icons across the entertainment and fashion industries.

Hailing from a lineage of veteran celebrity managers, Farah Ramos was immersed in an environment filled with legendary figures. Her aunt, Ethel Ramos, managed the careers of Aga Muhlach, Angel Locsin, Claudine Barretto, and Ina Raymundo, while her mother, Chit Ramos, handled Maja Salvador, Niño Muhlach, Matt Ranillo III, among others. Even with showbiz in her veins, Farah charted her path.
She initially started as a model before founding her first modeling agency in 2013. In 2017, she established Farah Models, creating a powerhouse that merges fashion and entertainment with a bold vision for nurturing talent.
Today, Farah Models proudly represents 26 of the nation’s most promising models, blending local and global appeal. For its upcoming anniversary, the agency will introduce eight of the Most Promising Talents in the Philippines—each exemplifying a distinct face of Asia.
How did Farah start?
Farah shared, “I had a modeling agency before with business partners. It ran for three to five years. Hindi nag-work out ‘yung partnership nang maayos. It was really the toughest journey that I had as a businesswoman because I didn’t study business.” Farah is a communication arts graduate and her business just started as people approached her for possible work opportunities. “Pumasok lang ako sa industry because ‘yung mga clients, they would ask me if I know more models, para sa show na ‘to. And I would always get the job for my friends. So, sabi ko, bakit hindi na lang ako magtayo ng agency? Pagkakitaan ko na lang. So, dun siya nag-start.”
Farah continued when asked if she thinks she made the right decision, “In 2017, that’s when I opened my own agency, Farah Models. And when I started, I wanted to have just a few models. Five lang ‘yung sinimulan ko and it was really diverse. Isang Pinay, isang half-American, isang half-Arab, so diverse.”
Farah also shared how her showbiz lineage and exposure have helped in her decision. “And kaya konti lang, kasi nakita ko ‘yung mommy ko and Tita ko, isa isa lang na mga sikat na artista. Gusto ko dapat ganun sa modeling agency ko, konti lang sila, but it’s not gonna work for modeling kasi the brands, they want new faces all the time.”
