It’s the second time a Filipino (well, now it’s half-Filipino) winning in the singing competition, X Factor Australia. Last year it was Marlissa Punzalan; this year, 19-year-old Cyrus Villanueva bagged the prize.
Cyrus has been constantly impressing the judges with his soulful voice and powerful stage presence. He competed against Louise Adams and the Jess & Matt duo where he finally emerged as the sole winner as announced today.
