Miles Speaks Her Mind

During the contract signing event hosted by DJ Jhai Ho, Miles expressed her gratitude, saying, “Hello po!
When asked by Jhai Ho about her decision to join All Access to Artists, Miles explained, “Actually, para siyang mahirap na madali for me, ‘yung naging desisyon ko kasi sabi nga po nina Direk Mike, even before pa nila ako kunin binang artist nila, halos lahat ng projects ko with TV5, it’s with them. And the fact na pinagkatiwala nila sa akin ‘yung Padyak Princess, na binigay nila ‘yung proyektong yun sa akin kahit hindi pa nila ako alaga, means so much to me.”

Jhai Ho also touched on the positive feedback Miles receives from her colleagues, noting, “Ang ganda nung mga sinasabi nila na pag tinatanong, how is it working with Miles, anong nafifeel mo na people are raving na masarap kang katrabaho.”
Miles acknowledged the significance of ‘Padyak Princess’ in this new chapter, stating, “Ay, oo naman.

Looking ahead, Miles shared her excitement for this new beginning: “Madami. Kasi medyo nagkaroon na rin ng delay itong pag-launch sa akin with Triple A. Pero, alam niyo po yung feeling na kahit nakita niyo po akong lumaki. Literal. Literal lumaki. Parang kahit medyo tumanda na po tayo dito, I feel like ang dami ko pang pang i-offer. I feel so hungry at the same time na nervous and excited kasi being in a new management, parang [starting] from the top ka ulit noon. And that excites me also kasi new beginning, new opportunities, and new people around you na who will motivate you then. And yun, nandun yung may gigil ako ngayon to act talaga. Kaya sabi ko ako kay Direk Mike, gusto ko umarte talaga. my So, yun, yun po yung mga nilulook forward ko ngayon.”
While specific projects remain under wraps, Miles assured her fans, “Pero for sure po ‘yan, may mga plano si Direk. ‘Di ba, Direk [Mike]? Pero of course, [Eat] Bulaga pa rin. Everyday din ‘yun. Pero grateful ako sa Eat Bulaga kasi every time na magpapaalam ako kasi meron akong gustong gawing project or gusto kong umarte, pinapayagan nila ako.”

Reflecting on her dream collaborations, Miles mentioned working with the Megastar Sharon Cuneta in ‘Family of Two’ as a significant experience. When asked about other artists she wishes to work with, she revealed, “Alam mo po, going here, iniisip ko na yan. Iniisip ko na anong dream role ko kasi for sure you will ask that. Gusto kong gawin to.’ So parang I’m just willing to explore right now and gusto ko gumawa ng pelikula talaga. Yun yung gusto ko. And makakatrabaho? Despite crossing paths with the Queen of Philippine Primetime and Soap Opera through her ‘Eat Bulaga’ co-host Ryan Agoncillo, they have yet to collaborate on a project.
Acknowledging her recent achievements, including her award and the success of ‘Padyak Princess’ and ‘Eat Bulaga,’ Jhai Ho inquired about the pressure that comes with recognition. Miles confessed, “Yes, opo naman. Parang ‘yun nga po, sobrang unexpected nun. And I just wanna share, nung time na ginagawa namin ‘yung pelikulang lang yun, talagang ayaw ko siyang gawin dahil kakalabas ko lang po ng hospital, manas pa ako because of my medicine and all. Kasi, di talaga may iwasan yung self-doubt talaga.
Miles also shared how her stint in ‘Eat Bulaga’ has amplified her natural humor. She shared, “Alam mo dati, dati palabiro na ako, pero lumala noong nag-Bulaga. Lumala talaga siya. Kasi parang dati, nag-jojoke naman ako once in a while. Pero, anyway, unexpected blessing for me ang Eat Bulaga. ‘Di ba kapag bata, ‘Pangarap ko pong magka-billboard, pangarap pong magka-pelikula.’ Pero never po naisip, ever, na pangarap ko pong mag-host sa Eat Bulaga or any noon time show kasi I feel like it’s so impossible to happen. And, wala naman akong ganun opportunity to showcase my hosting skills before. So, malaking deshing siya talaga for me.” She further explained the camaraderie within the ‘Eat Bulaga’ family and how it has encouraged her to embrace her comedic side.
When asked about her love life, Miles happily responded, “Masaya, masaya ang aking puso. Even kanina pa punta dito, grabe yung kaba ko. But having him, ‘yung support niya, yung love niya for me, mean so much to me.” Confirming their brief separation, Miles shared, “Yes, yes, yes. Of course. Well, hindi naman nawala yung love and respect namin for each other. That’s why we’re together again. Love is sweeter the second time around! So yun, I’m grateful. I’m grateful I have this partner na since same din kami ng field, talagang tinutulungan niya ako, gina-guide niya ako. So, masaya. I’m grateful to have a partner like him na grabe yung suporta sa akin at yung tiwala sa akin.”
In her final message, with her birthday approaching, Miles expressed her gratitude for her previous management and her excitement for this new chapter with Triple A. She said, “Of course, first of all, I’m grateful for my previous management with Crown Artist Management because of the opportunity they gave me. And, syempre, maraming maraming salamat po sa aking bagong pamilya, Triple A. Sabi ko nga, medyo tumatanda na rin po ako. 28 years old na po ako sa May 1, Labor Day. Nakakaexcite na yung feeling ko po signing today, nakakaexcite na nakakakaba kasi parang ano ulit to sakin, make it or break it ulit sakin. Pero ayun, kung meron man akong pagpapasalamatan ngayon, yan ay yung Triple A, Miss Jacqui, Sir Jojo, Direk Mike. Dahil ang hirap, sa dami pong artista ngayon, sa daming alam mong pwede kang palitan any time, alam mong merong mas magagaling sayo, andito sila, yung bagong pamilya ko na tumaya at nagtiwala sa akin sa kung anang kaya kong gawin. So, pangako po naman po na magiging good girl po ako at pagbubutihan ko po ang aking trabaho.”
With this major career move, Miles is set to embrace new opportunities and reach more milestones.
