Learn from a Master: Acting Workshops with Direk Rahyan Carlos
MQAA is excited to announce summer workshops led by Direk Rahyan Carlos, widely regarded as the leading acting coach in the Philippines. These workshops provide a chance to learn directly from a highly respected figure in the Philippine entertainment scene.
A Career of Influence
Since 1997, Rahyan Carlos has been a significant force in both film and television. He has excelled as a director, scriptwriter, and acting coach. Carlos has shaped some of the country’s most memorable films, including the popular Shake, Rattle & Roll 8, the suspenseful Pamahiin, and the internationally praised independent film Ringgo: The Dog Shooter. His contributions to television are equally notable, with series like Florinda and Lovespell on ABS-CBN, and Regal Shocker on TV5.
Expertise from Hollywood
Carlos’s reputation as an acting coach is exceptional. He trained with the famous Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck. Chubbuck’s clients include Hollywood stars such as Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Sylvester Stallone, and Charlize Theron. Carlos is the only Filipino authorized to teach the celebrated Chubbuck Technique in the Philippines. For over 26 years, he has guided numerous award-winning actors, both in the Philippines and internationally, inspiring new generations of performers.

This summer, Carlos will share his knowledge at MQuest Artists Agency’s workshops. He will introduce participants to the Chubbuck Technique, a powerful approach to acting that has shaped the careers of many of Hollywood’s biggest names. These workshops offer valuable insights into the art of acting, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, and a chance to enhance your abilities.
A Pathway to Discovery
