The Duterte administration’s campaign against drugs has landed on TIME Magazine’s cover (Asia Edition) for September 2016.
Entitled “Night Falls on the Philippines” written by Rishi Iyenger, the cover story briefly tackles the rise of President Rody Duterte to power and the stories of 3,000+ Filipinos allegedly killed so far in the government’s brutal war against drugs.
