Shown 25 days ahead of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) which was supposed to be its original play date alongside the other MMFF entries, The Super Parental Guardians which stars Coco Martin, Vice Ganda, Awra Briguela and Onyok Pineda ran on cinemas nationwide yesterday (November 30, 2016) with a record breaking opening day ticket sales of P75 million.
The film didn’t qualify for this year’s MMFF and was forced to play much earlier together with Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon’s Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers.
