In a highly anticipated return to television, Gerald Anderson will lead the upcoming ABS-CBN action-drama series, ‘Nobody’. The series promises to explore themes of loyalty, integrity, and morality, as hinted in a teaser that juxtaposes Anderson’s real-life acts of kindness with the intriguing tagline, “It is not a story about a hero… Gerald Anderson is a nobody.”
During the project announcement, Anderson expressed his excitement about taking on this challenging role. “It’s the perfect comeback show because it’s very challenging. This is a journey of a person whose true nature is unknown. Is he a hero? Is he a vigilante? Does he have integrity?” he shared.
Preparing for a Demanding Role
Anderson revealed that he is preparing physically for his portrayal of a law enforcement officer. “There will be martial arts and firing training because I’m in law enforcement, so there will be special training. I have some knowledge from the coastguard, and I’ll try to share it with the cast members,” he explained.
A New Chapter in Gerald’s Career
‘Nobody’ will be produced by ABS-CBN’s JRB Creative Production, with Benedict Mique as the director, Dindo Perez as the creative manager, and Cenon Palomares as the head writer. This series marks Anderson’s return to television since his last series, ‘A Family Affair’, which aired in 2022.
