MQuest Ventures has launched TV5’s new music countdown brand, “Vibe.” This show is a fan-driven platform where viewers have the power to determine which OPM songs will top the charts.
In the era of digital music and streaming platforms, every click, share, and play holds significance. Fan engagement has become crucial, creating stronger connections between artists and their audiences.

“Vibe” seeks to transform the OPM industry by placing fan participation at its core. Through real-time engagement, it aims to harness the passion of the OPM community and celebrate music collectively.
Aligned with the vision of MediaQuest Holdings Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan for content innovation and Filipino artistry, “Vibe” emphasizes interactive, data-driven entertainment. It showcases the network’s dedication to empowering local talent and involving fans in shaping the future of OPM.
The brand features a diverse lineup of young artists, known as the “Vibe” jocks. These talented musicians—Dylan Menor, Elijah Canlas, Ana Ramsey, Queenay, Paulo Angeles, Kych Minemoto, Ryle Santiago, Joao Constancia, and Maxie Andreison—are dedicated to promoting original Pilipino music and engaging with fans in the celebration of OPM.

Supporting these artists are the emerging talents known as the Gen V. This group, representing MQuest Ventures’ up-and-coming artists, includes Carmela Lorzano, Niko Badayos, Gab Pascual, Selina Griffin, Adam Buck, and Mark Ian. They are poised to make a significant impact on the entertainment scene.
“Vibe” features a multi-platform voting system, allowing fans to participate via SMS, web, and Meta Messenger. Additionally, radio requests can be submitted through 105.7 TrueFM. These avenues ensure fans have a direct influence on the music selection, spotlighting both established and rising Filipino artists.

Leading the new show is renowned director Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, known for his success in directing musical-variety shows. He approaches “Vibe” with a youthful, modern perspective, emphasizing audience preferences in music curation.
Jane Jimenez-Basas, President and CEO of MediaQuest, expresses enthusiasm about the project. She states, “This is a very exciting time for OPM and for every Filipino music fan. We’re not just showcasing music; we’re building a community where fans decide what they hear and whom they celebrate. It’s about empowering new artists while honoring the legends who paved the way.”
