Unstoppable: Young artist Dwayne Garcia drops second single ‘Para na Muna’
Rising star Dwayne Garcia has recently dropped his second single “Para Na Muna,” a song available now on Spotify and other digital platforms. Written by Joven Tan and released under Star Music, the track reflects a theme of taking a pause during tough times, encouraging listeners to step back and reflect when facing adversity.
Garcia, aged 15, is making a clear distinction between his aspirations in showbiz and his family’s established business background. His parents are successful entrepreneurs in the construction and beauty industries, but he is passionate about pursuing a career in entertainment. “I’ve wanted to be a singer and an actor since I was a child,” he shared. “Passion ko po ito. Pinilit ko po sila nung bata ako. Sabi ko, ‘Mommy, gusto ko pong mag-workshop sa Star Magic.’ ‘Yung support po nila ang nag-help sa akin,” he added.

While his parents support his dreams, they also encourage him to stay grounded in their business endeavors. “They always encourage and guide me. Suportado po nila ako,” he explained.
Dwayne’s journey in the entertainment industry began in 2024 when he debuted as a singer with the song “Taym Pers Muna” and as an actor in Joven Tan’s film “Outside de Familia,” featuring respected stars Gelli de Belen and Ruby Ruiz. “I’ve tried both dramatic and comedic roles. Nakapag-workshop na rin po ako sa Star Magic. Gusto ko naman pong i-try ‘yung action. Mahilig po talaga ako sa action movies katulad ng FPJ movies. Napapanood ko po nung bata ako kasama ang lolo ko,” he stated, expressing his eagerness to explore diverse roles.
Among his inspirations is Elijah Canlas, whom he admires deeply. “Ina-idolize ko po si Elijah Canlas. Gusto ko po siyang makatrabaho. Natural na natural po siya,” he said enthusiastically. Garcia praised Canlas’ ability to portray complex characters with authenticity and nuance, indicating his admiration for the actor’s craft.
Moving ahead, Dwayne revealed that he is preparing for upcoming projects, saying, “Sa ngayon, may mga niluluto po kaming projects after ‘Outside de Familia.’” Fans can anticipate more from this talented young performer.
In the launch event for “Para Na Muna,” renowned composer and Star Music executive Jonathan Manalo expressed his support and optimism about Garcia’s potential. Commenting on the song, he said, “May potential siya of becoming a hit kasi nandun ang lahat ng elements na uso ngayon sa OPM.
