Vice Ganda, known for his outspoken stance and willingness to address sensitive issues, did not hold back. During the show, he engaged with a Laro Laro Pick player named Ron-Ron who shared his story, “Nag-try po ‘kong magbuhat ng mga paninda, mga buko, para lang po may pang-suporta sa aking magulang.” Vice Ganda explained that Ron-ron’s work is one of the fastest and most accessible ways to earn a living — no experience or diploma needed, “Ang kailangan diyan sipag, lakas ng katawan, kailangan pursgido ka.” Vice emphasized the discipline required in such physically demanding jobs, saying:
“At higit sa lahat, disiplina. Kailangan ng disiplina ng mga taong yan. Kung wala kang disiplina, hindi ka magigising nang maaga. Kung wala kang disiplina, aarte ka ‘pag nainitan ka, ‘pag nadumihan ka, ‘pag napagod ka. Malaking disiplina ang meron ng mga taong ito. Mahirap ‘yan kasi pisikal na pisikal ang trabaho mo, ‘di ba? Pero dahil sa puntong iyon, kailangan kailangan mong kumita. Kaya ‘yan na agad ang pinasok niya.”
When asked about his age when he started working as a loader, the contestant shared: “14 po.” Jhong Hilario confirmed, “7 years,” as the contestant is now 21.
Vice Ganda then turned his attention to the larger issue of corruption, passionately looked at the camera, stating and indirectly addressing the message to corrupt officials:
“Ayan o, ito ‘yung mga taong ninanakawan natin. ‘Di ba? Ang korapsyon ay hindi lamang pagnanakaw ng salapi ng bayan. Ito’y pagnanakaw ng pag-asa. Ito’y pagnanakaw ng pangarap. Ito’y pagnanakaw ng magandang posibilidad. At maraming tao na ang namatay dahil sa pagnanakaw niyo ng pondo ng bayan, ‘di ba? Maraming magulang ang hindi nakapagdala sa hospital ng kanilang may mga sakit na anak dahil sa korapsyon. Maraming matatanda ang hindi naagapan ang sakit dahil sa korapsyon. Maraming bahay ang nasira at nabagsakan dahil sa korapsyon. Maraming mag-asawa ang naghiwalay dahil sa problema ng kahirapan. Kaya hindi lang pera ang ninanakaw niyo… buhay!”
He urged Ron-Ron, and the public, to take action against these corrupt practices, reminding everyone:
“Kaya, ikaw, balikan mo ang mga nagnakaw sa’yo. ‘Di ba? Mababalikan natin sila sa anong pamamaraan? Sa pagsasalita. Sa pagboto ng tama. Sa ‘wag pagpayag na ito ay patuloy nilang gawin sa atin. At sa ‘wag pagpayag na ito ay nagawa nila ng gano’n-gano’n lang.”
Finally, Vice Ganda acknowledged the bravery required to stand up against injustice, recognizing that not everyone has the courage or ability:
“At hindi lahat may tapang, ha? Hindi lahat may kakayahan. Kasi ang iba iniisip, ‘Eh kung makikipaglaban pa ako hindi ako makakapagtrabaho. Kung makikipaglaban pa ako hindi ako kikita paano ang pamilya ko.’ Kami ang makikipaglaban para sa iyo.”
