During the Banana Sundae anniversary press conference last November 10, John Prats, one of the show’s stars, talked about his being best friends with co-star Angelica Panganiban and why the two of them never got romantically linked to each other. Angelica and John grew up as child stars together with John’s younger sister Camille. Angelica and Camille were constant workmates in the 90s with memorable appearances in films Sarah: Ang Munting Prinsesa and Ang Pulubi at ang Prinsesa.
