What a touching story shared earlier on Eat Bulaga. The noontime show which was supposed to just record an intro video for the Challenge Accepted!* segment ended up conducting an imromptu social experiment last Wednesday. In the said experiment, Maine Mendoza disguised as a taong grasa (street urchin) and roamed around the streets of Baclaran, and areas near the CCP Complex and the Harbour Square area. It’s so heartwarming to know that there are still good samaritans in this day and age. Maine became the recipient of kindness from total strangers. While many ignored her plea for help, a few vendors willingly shared whatever they could. Eat Bulaga is now preparing a surprise for two of the vendors caught on cam – one selling lumpia and the other, taho.
