Watsons brought the summer buzz to life at SM Mega Fashion Hall last May 8, 2025, with its Summer Fun celebration. Hosted by Carmela Tunay, the event spotlighted Premier Volleyball League (PVL) stars Kim Kianna Dy, Fifi Sharma, and Jolina Dela Cruz, whose energy and stories energized the crowd.
Fans had the chance to get up close with the athletes, learning about their favorite Watsons products, summer essentials, and tips for staying fresh and confident, whether on the court or just going about their day. The players also shared ways they manage to balance their sport and personal passions, offering insights on staying healthy and motivated.
Fifi spoke about managing her training alongside skincare routines. “As an athlete health is wealth talaga kasi if you’re not physically or even mentally healthy you’re gonna have a challenging time to perform well. I guess effort lang din everyday to do things to contribute to my health and wellness and of course Watsons plays a very big part of that,” she shared.
Jolina offered advice for young athletes who look up to her. “Sa young athletes na naglolook up sakin, kailangan natin magstart na alagaan mga katawan natin especially investing sa health nga, proper sleep, hydration, and mga kinakain natin sobrang importante talaga and yung pagtake talaga ng vitamins sobrang importante yun,” she said.
Kiana also shared her skincare must-haves. “I always have my moisturizer and sunblock. I always have to put that very morning kahit hindi ako mababad sa araw. I still have to put on my sunblock and moisturize all throughout the day…It’s very important to take care of your body so just applying that everyday, you really make a big difference,” she explained.
The event was lively with fans grabbing exclusive photo sessions with the athletes and taking home prizes from Watsons. Attendees also enjoyed interactive zones, including a Summer Charm making station, a UV care area with expert tips, and free ice cream treats to beat the heat.
